Robion
A small village in the Vaucluse not far from Cavaillon
The old village in Robion is quite a contrast to the built up area that you approach it through, with old cobbled streets, small church and a fountain shaded by plane trees.
Remains of the fortifications that used to surround the village can still be seen as you head towards the higher points of the village and the cliffs beyond.
Events in [locality]
The Festival de Robion, a world music festival takes place in July each year and brings International artists to this small village.
Things to do in [locality]
Starting at the outdoor theatre (the Theatre de Verdure) there is a walking trail which takes you up into the hills behind the village and beyond that, you have the Luberon National park to explore.
Directions
You'll find Robion around 7km east of Cavaillon, along the main D2 road.
From Avignon it takes around an hour by car to reach the village via the A7 motorway; you can take the route via Caumont sur Durance or l'Isle sur la Sorgue to get here.
