The traditional 'voyage de préparation' where 12 women will be selected to compete for the final title, will take place in Tahiti on the 22nd November.

Hopes are high for Miss Provence and Miss Riviera as they prepare together for their journey to Tahiti and, hopefully, onto the grand final which will be held in Lille on the 19th December. Designer Jean-Paul Gaultier will be the jury president during the selection process which will see the crown passed form 2015 winner, Camille Cerf, to the new Miss France 2016.

The two women, Leanna Ferrero from Grasse and Julia Cortes from Marseilles, met for the first time during the Miss Riviera contest which was held in August in Mougins. Since then they have been meeting regularly to help each other with their preparations.

We wish them both luck in the Tahiti preliminaries in just over a weeks time.
