Night Time Light Show at the Pont du Gard, near Nimes
Les Fééries du Pont at the Pont du Gard
These magical light shows combine fireworks, masterful lighting and projection techniques.
The Groupe F performers have prepared a show, “Mondes Magiques”, that will surely dazzle the crowd, both young and old. A perfect evening event for the whole family. Famous for their unparalleled theatrical performances around the world (Olympic Ceremonies, national celebrations, international art festivals), Groupe F will transform the bridge and surrounding area with lights and pyrotechnics, to tell a story inspired by world legends and folklore.
Every June, Groupe F uses the Pont du Gard as their canvas to present a breathtaking spectacle for the audience on the riverbank below this ancient architectural masterpiece. This year, the show will certainly be unforgettable as the Groupe F artists seek to celebrate the anniversary of this amazing monument with a special ‘birthday party’ for the aqueduct.
The Pont du Gard is a Roman monument that was built midway through the 1st century AD. This architectural masterpiece is an ancient aqueduct with three levels that measures 50m high and the bridge itself measures 360m along the top.
Tickets can be purchased online here or at the venue. The spectacle will take place on the right bank of the Pont du Gard. The « Féeries du Pont » will start at 19:00, and the main event is from 22:00-23:00.
A sight not to be missed, the Pont du Gard is still worth a visit if you are unable to attend the evening celebrations. To enter as a family, it only costs 18€ for up to 5 people and includes access to the entire site. This includes the Pont du Gard itself, the remains of the aqueduct, access to the museum and to the Ludo area, the Mémoires de Garrigue, open air walks, temporary exhibitions, free events, 7 km of carefully maintained walking areas, picnic spaces and more…
