Celebrity wedding at Keira Knightley Provence Property
Actress Keira Knightley has quietly married the lead singer singer from the Klaxons, James Righton this weekend. The couple said yes before the mayor of Mazan (Vaucluse), where the bride bought a property in 2010.
The wedding was an intimate civil ceremony, where only select friends and family were present.
Keira Knightley bought a house in Mazan which is surrounded by acres of olive trees and vines in 2010, although the property is said to be registered to her mother who is also registered as a wine producer.
Knightley is well-known in France not just through her success on the big-screen but also as the face of Chanel's Coco Mademoiselle perfume.
The village of Mazan has equal fame, as is the host village of the first theatre festival in Provence put on by the writer Marquis de Sade.
