Wine festival around the vineyards of Vaucluse and Bouches du Rhône in May
The Festival of the Vine and the Wine takes place throughout the Vaucluse and Bouches du Rhône on the Saturday after Ascension Day.
The wine cellars and domaines open their doors to visitors to offer tours and tastings and workshops on everything from wine making to wine matching.
Activities for children are a part of the festival - and there are games for the adults too. The festival is centred around the main wine growing areas - Côtes du Rhône, Côtes du Luberon and Côtes du Ventoux - the website has a listed on participating villages.
